Fluxus
Founded in Los Angeles in 2007 by French Canadian Martin Paquette, fLuXuS is an apparel company specializing in knits. fLuXuS, from a Latin etymological root meaning flow, was inspired by one of the most radical and experimental art movements of this century, with origins in futurist performance that blurs the lines between all artistic genres. fLuXuS does not believe in outsourcing. Everything is made in its Los Angeles infrastructure from conception to design and manufacturing. In August 2009, Jeffrey Sebelia, former winner of Project Runway Season 3, joined the fLuXuS team as the brands Lead Designer. The combination of Jeffrey’s avant-garde designs and elegant rock aesthetic have complimented fLuXuS’s modern fabrics which position the company as being at the forefront of fashion and design.
